The Traditional Ruler of Nri Ancient Kingdom, His Royal Majesty, Eze Engr. Obidiegwu Onyesoh. MFR JP. [EzeNrienwelana II] has Officially announced the date of ILO-MUO NDI-IGBO 2022 AD.
ILO-MUO NDI-IGBO festival is celebrated once every year and it is the day that the people Thank God for a wonderful harvest.
ILO-MUO is also known and Called ‘IWA Ji’ in many Igbo communities and it is being celebrated on September which is the (Onwa Asato) eight month in Igbo lunar calendar.

His Majesty who made this known in a statement signed by the Secretary to the palace, Prince Paschal Onyesoh and made available to BT Afrika in Awka, noted that this year’s Ilo-Muo will be on Saturday (Afo) 24th September 2022 in the Royal Palace of Eze Nri Nrienwelana II, Agukwu Nri, Anaocha Local Government, Anambra State.
His Majesty urged Ndigbo home and abroad to be part of this Rich Cultural Heritage, Promotion, Celebration and also use it to unite themselves.

Prince Paschal also revealed that HRM Regent Prince Ikenna Onyesoh (Idebutaku n’Nri) who is the traditional regent of Nri Ancient Kingdom will be representing HRM Eze Nri Obidiegwu Onyesoh (Nrienwelana II) on the throne.
